Deckshare
Deckshare is a personal project that I've been vibe coding to learn Cursor. To put it simply, it's a table to play cards with your friends and family online. I love playing monopoly deal, bridge and other flexible format games with close ones in person, but living abroad in the states it's hard to relive those moments when apart. This product aims to fill that void.

With the aesthetic I've been trying to implement a tactile, playful feeling. Having the cards placed at random rotations, and overlapping in different organic ways to emulate the feeling of playing cards in real life.

For the app icon, I worked to bring in three key elements: the 'D' and 'S' from the products name, the card shape and playfulness, and the grid backdrop on which it all rests - and on which by default the game is played.

Users land in the play tab where they can see their own table and the live tables where friends are currently playing. When entering they land in a freeform, pan-able, almost-infinite canvas with a deck and discard pile in the center. Their own hand, and that of any friends who join get placed around the outside. Cards can be dragged anywhere, placed in stacks, and tapped to flip.

The project is ongoing, currently in beta playing with friends and family to prove out the use case.
